The Armani store and restaurant on 5th Avenue in New York City opened in 2009. Its facade is fitted with aluminum bars holding LED strips. In order to transform video content from a playback computer, a pixel-mapping system was developed that enabled the grabbing of screen content and mapped it to the specific data protocol of LEDs.
